Hello & Welcome!

Welcome to the new home for my blog, System Secrets. Some of you will be familiar with the format of my blog, but for the rest of you, this blog is a place of me to share tips & tricks I’ve come across through my day-to-day work which I think others will fine useful.

The topics can be varied, generally covering MS Windows & Office (Excel in particular), and SQL (Teradata & SQL Server, but I’m still a bit of a novice myself on the latter!)

They’ll range in difficulty from beginner to advanced, and not all will make sense to everyone, so please don’t be worried if one of my posts makes little sense to you – just wait until the next one!

I should point out that I don’t claim to be an expert in any of these fields, but use them enough to know my way around, and be able to advise others on how to get the most from them. It also means that there may always be another / better way of achieving the same result, but for me, that’s the fun of it – especially with Excel!
