A Note Around OS / Program Versions

There are two main machines I use daily – my work laptop, and my personal laptop. Although both are Windows based machines, they’re configured differently, so thought it worth clarifying.

My work PC, of which I spend the most amount of time, particularly with Excel / Outlook etc, is Windows 7 based, with Office 2010. I expect most articles will be done based on my experiences with this machine.

My personal PC in Windows 8, with Office 2013.

Where possible / relevant, I’ll clarify which version any article applies to. Worth noting though, like any corporate environment, selected features & options may not be available to me on my work PC. This may be the reason behind a post (eg, discussing the alternative options), other times I will try & use my personal machine instead. So there could be a mixture, but again, I’ll always aim to clarify who any given article is aimed towards.
